Through innovative material processes and production techniques, the chair features a tubular steel frame with self-supporting, shrink-fitted fabric, forming a voluminous shape that adapts to the user's posture while providing firm support. Born in Sweden in 1979, Jonas Forsman is an award-winning industrial designer. He studied Furniture at Stenebyskolan, before graduating with a Master’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. He currently lives in Gothenburg, Sweden, where he operates his own design studio, specialising in furniture and product design. Drawing on mechanical solutions and exploring the possibilities of materials and fabrics, he strives to reduce each product to its essence – creating functional, innovative objects that go beyond aesthetics.  His works have been exhibited in Göteborg, Stockholm, and Milan several times and have received several Red Dot awards. For HAY, he has designed the O2 Lounge Chair and Ottoman.
