Triangle Leg Bench

 

Motivated by the desire to create more space around a circular table, Simon Jones designed the Triangle leg table and bench series. The ends of the rectangular bench have been rounded to match the table’s organic shape, which was designed to maximise seating and create a sociable setting. The triangular leg section creates the illusion of lightness and enables it to be used alone or together with square- or round-legged chairs. Crafted from solid oak with an oiled or water-based lacquer finish, this versatile bench is suitable for a wide range of private and public dining or office environments.

Triangle Leg Bench / Designer

Simon Jones Studio is a multi-disciplinary London-based design practice founded in 2010 by Simon Jones and Jack Neville. Simon studied Architecture at the University of North London, while Jack graduated from Kingston University with a BA in Furniture and Product Design. Together they primarily work on architectural projects, exhibition design and furniture production, using skilled design practice with a particular focus on materials and detail. 

The design pair collaborate with many of the UK's leading arts organisations and galleries, including the Institute of Contemporary Arts, Liverpool Biennial, Karsten Schubert Gallery, Somerset House and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Simon Jones Studio has designed the Triangle Collection for HAY.
