Crafted from solid pine using just a few carefully joined wooden components, its functional yet timeless design serves effortlessly as a stool, side table, or step. Available in Short and Long variants with different finishes.

Manolito Stool / Story

In his second design for HAY, Spanish designer Marc Morro has created the Manolito Stool, a functional, contemporary design that serves as a stool, side table, or step. Crafted from solid FSC-certified (C148805) pine with an oil wax finish using just a few carefully joined wooden components, the Manolito reflects Morro’s longstanding interest in small, improvised stools.

Manolito Stool / Designer

Designer Marc Morro was born in Majorca in 1984, leaving the island at the age of 18 to study industrial design at Elisava School in the city of Barcelona, where he is still based today. Marc strives for honesty and radical austerity in his designs, using his direct approach creating logical objects with minimalistic, clear constructions. He offers creative and development services for commissioned projects for a variety of individuals and companies. For HAY, Marc has designed the Taburete 8 Bar Stool and the Manolito Stool.
