Barro Butter Dish

Designed by Portuguese Rui Pereira, the Barro Butter Dish is part of a tableware collection that brings the warmth and beautiful simplicity of terracotta to the table. Meaning ‘red clay’ in Portuguese, Barro represents the designer’s appreciation of the traditions and uses associated with this ancient material. Comprising a small plate and matching lid, the butter dish’s intuitive design and soft touch give it a visual and tactile appeal. Crafted in Portugal from durable terracotta, the Barro Butter Dish can be used alone or mixed with other Barro tableware to create personalised table settings.
